Trimurti Arts, Commerce, and Science College solemnly commemorated the Punyatithi (death anniversary) of Rajmata Jijau, the revered mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. A special program was organized at the college to pay homage to this iconic figure, whose profound influence shaped the course of Maratha history and ignited the spirit of Swaraj.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp (Deep Prajwalan). Following this, students presented cultural performances that beautifully unfolded the life and work of Jijau Mata. These presentations served as a vibrant tribute, bringing to life the pivotal role she played in India’s rich heritage.
