On July 23, 2025, Trimurti Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Trimurtinagar, Nevasa Phata, hosted an informative session detailing skill development courses under the government-backed Mahajyoti scheme. The session, aimed at empowering students with practical skills for future employment, was conducted by Mr. Pratik Gosavi Sir, a representative from the Sai Ishwari Foundation.

Mr. Gosavi provided comprehensive information about two specific courses offered through this scheme: Makeup Artist and Cabling Technician. He explained that each course would run for seven days, with daily one-hour sessions. Upon completion, students would undergo an examination, and successful candidates would receive a certificate from the Sector Skill Council. Mr. Gosavi emphasized that this certification would be highly beneficial for the students’ future career prospects.

A key highlight of the Mahajyoti scheme, as explained by Mr. Gosavi, is its focus on specific demographics and its commitment to accessibility. The scheme is open to students belonging to the

OBC, SBC, VJ, and NT categories, within an age group of 20 to 45 years. Importantly, these courses are

free of charge, removing financial barriers to skill acquisition for eligible students.
