Date: 05/06/2025 Location: Trimurtinagar, NewasaPhata
Today, on June 5th, World Environment Day was celebrated with immense enthusiasm and a series of innovative initiatives at Trimurti Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Newasa Phata, Trimurtinagar. The celebration this year was marked by a significant commitment: a resolution to make the college campus completely plastic-free. This ambitious pledge, coupled with a collective responsibility undertaken by everyone present to plant and protect various trees, underscored the vital importance of environmental conservation for the sustenance of global health.

The core message resonating throughout the day was a powerful and urgent one: that the preservation of the human race hinges entirely on the health of our environment. Extensive awareness campaigns were conducted to highlight this crucial interdependence. It was emphasized that robust environmental health can only be achieved through widespread tree plantation drives, which are no longer merely beneficial but an absolute necessity. The discussions also shed light on the critical role of tree plantation in strengthening the ozone layer, which is essential for mitigating the harmful effects of the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays.
