Strategic MoU Signed for ‘Career Katta’ Between Trimurti College and Maharashtra State Information Technology Assistance Center

In a forward-looking initiative aimed at enhancing student development and career readiness, Trimurti Arts, Commerce & Science College, Trimurti Nagar, Nevasa Phata, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra State Information Technology Assistance Center (MSITAC) on May 22, 2025. The MoU was signed in Pune in the presence of academic and administrative dignitaries from both institutions.


About the Initiative: Career Katta

Career Katta is a dynamic program launched by the Maharashtra State Government with the objective of guiding college students toward meaningful careers. This initiative offers structured mentorship, career counseling, training in soft skills, and resources for competitive exam preparation. It’s not just a program, but a platform for students to engage with industry experts, gain practical insights, and explore career opportunities based on their interests and capabilities.

About Maharashtra State Information Technology Assistance Center (MSITAC)

It assists in deploying digital infrastructure, providing training, and launching initiatives like Career Katta across Maharashtra. The center collaborates with colleges to prepare students for both public and private sector opportunities.


Highlights of the MoU Signing

Trimurti Arts, Commerce & Science College, Trimurti Nagar, Nevasa Phata, has taken a significant step toward student development by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra State Information Technology Assistance Center. This collaboration aims to empower students through the Career Katta initiative, which is designed to provide structured guidance for holistic growth.

The MoU signing ceremony took place in the presence of respected faculty member Prof. Somanath Khedkar from Trimurti College and Mr. Yashwant Shitole, Director of the Maharashtra State IT Assistance Center. Both dignitaries signed the agreement, marking the beginning of a collaborative journey dedicated to nurturing student potential.

Mr. Shitole highlighted that Career Katta will serve as a platform for mentoring students in both academic and life skills, helping them to grow personally and professionally. The initiative will especially benefit students preparing for competitive examinations by offering them targeted support and direction.

College Principal Dr. Changdevrao Arsule and Program Coordinator Dr. Anuradha Gore played a pivotal role in facilitating this partnership. Their dedication and efforts were instrumental in making this collaboration a reality.

The event also acknowledged the support and contributions of faculty members including Prof. Nikita Barge, Prof. Yogita Gaikwad, Prof. Santosh Jawale, and Mr. Mayur Devare, who have all worked together to ensure the success of this initiative.
