As is customary every year, on Ashadh Vadya Kamika Ekadashi, millions of devotees gathered here for a glimpse of Mauli. The immense crowd, while a testament to faith, unfortunately resulted in a significant accumulation of waste across the temple premises, cooking areas (pakashala), gardens, and surrounding vicinity. Recognizing this critical need for community well-being, the National Service Scheme (NSS) Department of Trimurti Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Nevasa, under the Trimurti Pawan Pratishthan, organized a dedicated cleanliness drive titled “Mauli’s Doorstep – A Pilgrimage of Cleanliness” (“माऊलीच्या दारी, स्वच्छताची वारी”).
