The Spirit of Sportsmanship: Ahmednagar District Hosts Boys’ Kabaddi Competition

On September 11 and 12, 2025, a thrilling inter-collegiate Boys’ Kabaddi tournament was inaugurated at Mahatma Phule Nutan Mahavidyalaya, Mirajgaon. The event, a collaboration between Savitribai Phule Pune University, the Ahmednagar District Divisional Sports Committee, and the host college, brought together teams from across the district to compete in this dynamic sport.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Dnyaneshwar Khurange, the District Sports Officer of Ahmednagar, who was welcomed warmly. The event commenced with a ceremonial worship of the field, performed by all the dignitaries present, setting a tone of respect and reverence for the sport.
