A Tribute to Vedant Nitin Waghmare’s Exceptional Achievement

We are immensely proud to announce the phenomenal achievement of Vedant Nitin Waghmore, a student of our college, Trimurti Arts, Commerce, and Science College. Vedant, a student of FYBSC, has brought immense pride to the institution and the nation by securing Four gold medals at the 16th Asian Shooting Championship – 2025 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan.
Vedant’s stellar performance in the 10-meter Rifle Shooting event earned him a gold medal in the individual category and another gold in the team event. This exceptional feat is a testament to his dedication, skill, and tireless practice. This is not his first major victory; he previously clinched a gold medal in the 50-meter rifle prone individual event at the Junior Shooting Championship in World Peru from September 26 to October 7, 2024.

Upon his return, Vedant was honored at a special felicitation ceremony at the college. During the event, the respected Vice President of the Trust, Dr. Snehal Didi Ghadge Patil, praised Vedant’s remarkable achievement, commending his hard work and dedication. All the professors of the college also extended their heartfelt congratulations and wished him the very best for his future endeavors. Other students were encouraged to take inspiration from his journey and dedication to excellence.
His consistent excellence on the global stage, in a competition with participation from 8 countries, is a source of great inspiration.
