On Saturday, July 26, 2025, Trimurti Arts, Commerce, and Science College, Trimurtinagar, operating under the Trimurti Pawan Pratishthan, organized a special guidance session on the New Education Policy (NEP-2020). The primary objective of this session was to provide college faculty with in-depth knowledge of the new educational policy and to shed light on how to implement it effectively.

The program commenced with a warm welcome and introductory remarks by the college’s esteemed Principal, Dr. Arsule Sir. He delved into the fundamental concepts of NEP-2020, explaining its necessity and utility in today’s educational system. He emphasized how the policy aims to transform India’s education landscape to meet the demands of the 21st century, focusing on holistic development, flexibility, and multidisciplinary learning.


In-Depth Insights: Navigating NEP-2020 Implementation

Following the introduction, Prof. Dr. Ahire D.D. and Prof. Dr. Pandit A.P. from New Arts, Commerce & Science College, Ahmednagar, were invited as key resource persons. They provided comprehensive guidance to the faculty on various crucial aspects of NEP-2020. Their session focused particularly on practical implementation strategies, including:

  • Timetable Management for UG and PG Courses: Detailed guidance on structuring academic schedules to align with the flexible credit system and multidisciplinary approach of NEP-2020.
  • Department-wise Workload Distribution: Insights into effectively allocating responsibilities among faculty members to ensure optimal utilization of resources and equitable distribution of tasks.
  • Workload Creation: Practical advice on how to define and manage academic and administrative workloads under the new policy framework.

The expert speakers also shed light on other critical changes introduced by NEP-2020, such as the flexibility in curriculum design, the emphasis on multidisciplinary studies, the integration of skill-based education, and transformations in assessment methodologies. They highlighted how these changes aim to create a more adaptable, student-centric, and future-ready educational system.

The session saw enthusiastic participation from the attending faculty members. They actively engaged in discussions, raised numerous queries, and sought clarifications on various aspects of the policy’s implementation, demonstrating their keen interest in adapting to the new framework.

At the conclusion of the program, Prof. Jawale S.A. delivered the vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the guest speakers and all attendees. Heads of all departments, associate professors, and other teaching staff participated with great enthusiasm, indicating the college’s collective commitment to embracing the new educational paradigm. The program was exceptionally successful, providing the participating faculty with much-needed clarity on the academic, administrative, and planning aspects required for NEP-2020 implementation. The college’s Principal, all department heads, and the teaching fraternity took the lead in ensuring the success of this event.
