On June 17, 2025, Trimurti Arts, Commerce, and Science College reverently observed the Punyatithi (death anniversary) of Gopal Ganesh Agarkar. The college organized a solemn and dedicated program to pay tribute to this eminent social reformer, educationist, and rationalist thinker.

The commemoration began with the traditional lighting of the lamp (Deep Prajwalan) and floral tributes to Agarkar’s image. Agarkar was a fierce social reformer, an influential educationist, and a staunch rationalist. Through his influential newspaper, ‘Sudharak’ (The Reformer), he vehemently condemned social superstitions, caste discrimination, and outdated traditions.
